Year Seven

The students gained knowledge on the Aboriginal Culture and were introduced to several techniques to recreate an aboriginal painting using mixed media. The students developed their own “Aboriginal Style” journey map paintings based on their journey to school.View Gallery.

Year Eight

The year eight work displayed shows examples of final 3D group pieces based on an insect/carnival theme. There were also several decorated picture frames that were inspired by Indian Research they had gathered and recorded.

Year Nine

Mechanical /Electrical Forms. Students produced detailed observational pencil studies or mechanical forms. The students concentrated on scale and perspective and were introduced to artists such as Davinci who demonstrates this well in his work. The students produced abstract work from circuit boards to produce two colour quick print and monochrome acrylic painting.

Pupils will be expected to evaluate their work at the end of each scheme of work, the following information will enable pupils to complete the task more thoroughly.
